Dragons Dogma 2 review – A master class in open world game design!

Not being able to add everything he envisioned in the first Dragon's Dogma had always been his biggest regret. Dragon's Dogma 2 reflects that love and care as the game builds on the strengths of the first Dragon's Dogma while fixing many of its weaknesses.

Dragon's Dogma 2 is a carefully crafted open-world masterpiece filled with memorable random encounters and hidden secrets. After playing the game for 60 hours and reaching both the normal and true ending, here is my full review of the game.

Dragon's Dogma 2's story begins in the kingdom of Vermund, with the classic story of origin from the first part, but adds a little twist. Each cycle an Arisen is chosen by the dragon to unite all the kingdoms and fight it and become the Sovran of Vermund. The Arisen lead the Peasants, who are beings from beyond the Rift that lack any will of their own, only following Arisen's orders, or so we thought.
