In the game, Lana is simply a nail technician aka 'Nail Lady' who is known to all players. She works at the nail salon in the game and mostly sits at her desk. Ever since the game's release, Lana has simply been just the nail lady, and she didn't have a name. Her signature style is brown hair and white clothes. This was until the April Fools 2024 update arrived.

In the April Fools 2024 update, what was supposed to be a joke, something interesting happened in Dress to Impress. We see a new diary on the desk of the "Nail Lady" where she writes "They just call me 'Nail Lady' when I'm so much more than that." With that, she reveals her name for the first time and says:
