Recently, we learned that the One Piece manga will go on a three-week hiatus after the release of chapter 1,111. The sad news of Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama sensei's passing took a huge toll on fans and mangakas (manga creators). Manga creators often overexert themselves and devote their lives to their art, overlooking their health.

With the passing of Kentaro Miura and Akira Toriyama, this has served as a wake-up call for many and made them prioritize their well-being above all else. Recently, Black Clover creator Yuki Tabata did the same. Now the same decision has been made by Oda sensei, as he decided to go on a long break specifically for his "self maintenance".
