After a successful launch and a short hotfix, FromSoftware has finally released the first major patch for Elden Ring. The new Elden Ring patch 1.12.3 aims to fix bugs and rebalance some weapons. In addition, the latest patch also fixes some PC-specific issues from the launch of the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC.

While we do see some changes in the new Elden Ring patch, the highlight for me is that the patch has finally fixed the perfume bottles. Lightning and Frenzyflame perfume bottles will no longer deal double the intended damage.
Similarly, the Carian Sorcery Sword has some small changes, with the intelligence scaling of the weapon being fixed. But you will also see some slightly reduced damage. Another prominent change comes to the Bloodfiend's Arm. With the new patch, the Arcane scaling and stat build from the weapon has been fixed.
Likewise, the Elden Ring patch 1.12.3 has made some fixes for the bosses and some PC-specific changes. The new patch finally fixes the Golden Hippo and Commander Gaius placements during the rematch. So you will no longer be attacked by them after you immediately enter the boss room. This gives you chances to summon your Spirit Ash.
