The Elden Ring's Shadow of the Erdtree DLC has been in deep water ever since its release last month, receiving mixed feedback from fans around the world. And while it's missing out on a lot lore-wise, fans have begun to realize that there's another major mechanic that Realm of Shadow is missing.
One of the first NPCs you meet after completing the tutorial is Merchant Kyle, who can be found in the Church of Elleh. As you travel further through the different parts of The Lands Between, you'll come across many merchants like Kyle who let you buy and sell items, a mechanic missing from the latest DLC.
There are only a few characters in games made by Hidetaka Miyazaki that the player doesn't stop hating at the end, and the peaceful merchants out there offering simple business transactions is one of them.
