The Spider-Man star was just twelve when she appeared in the sci-fi series.
38 actors you didn't realize were in Star Trek
Star Trek is one of the most popular sci-fi series in the world and has attracted many actors to its shows and movies. While many actors such as Patrick Stewart, William Shatner and Brent Spiner would go on to be global stars, others in much less prominent roles also made it in the industry.
One such actor was Spider-Man star Kirsten Dunst, who appeared as Hedril in Star Trek: The Next Generation. The actress was just twelve when she appeared on the show as the alien who shares an adept/daughter-like relationship with Majel Barrett's Lwaxana Troi. Dunst also appeared in her breakout role in Interview with the Vampire that same year.
Kirsten Dunst is perhaps best known for her role as Mary Jane Watson in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy starring Tobey Maguire. While she played the perfect yet complex love interest of Maguire's Peter Parker in the films, her performance as the damsel in distress drew much criticism in later years.
