Every MARVEL POST-CREDITS Scene That Went Nowhere…and When They'll Pay Off!

Over the past 15 years, Marvel Studios has used its superhero movies to build a cinematic universe. Across 23 films in the Infinity Saga, Marvel wove cliffhangers, crossovers and connecting threads that culminated in a blockbuster two-part Avengers event. It all started with a post-credits scene in Iron Man that introduced Nick Fury to the Marvel Cinematic Universe and set the ball rolling for crossovers, cataclysmic conflicts, and multiverse mayhem.
Since the Infinity Saga officially ended with 2019's Spider-Man: Far From Home, Marvel Studios has continued to tease new team-ups and new world-threatening threats. Many of them have yet to fully pay off, and Marvel's many hints and promises of upcoming sagas have become difficult to keep track of.
