Taylor Sheridan may be the god/creator of Yellowstone but no one has power like Kelly Reilly's Beth Dutton.

Taylor Sheridan's new Yellowstone replacement sounds better than his sequel plan

In Taylor Sheridan's world, characters like John, Beth and Jaime Dutton are a dime a dozen. Dysfunctional family trauma is present in all the other characters and it's not just limited to the colorful ones in Yellowstone. However, a certain bow may have had a greater percentage of problems on its plate compared to the others.

Yellowstone has pitted Beth and Jaime Dutton against each other since the pilot episode of the series. From there it's only gone downhill, decimating everything in its path and leaving behind nothing but anger and resentment. With Taylor Sheridan's series now in its final stages, it's high time the blood feud finally came to an end, preferably with some justified conclusion rather than outright carnage.

In the history of epic fantasy TV series – be it dragons or cowboys – only two characters have made audiences feel writhing hatred and pure, unadulterated loathing on such a grand scale and scale. If one was Joffrey Baratheon, the other is surely a character built in the shadow of his mother. Beth Dutton is modeled as a modern take on Cersei Lannister for whom incest has been replaced with generational trauma.
