This is the time of year when we get to see teasers and trailers for the Disney movies we love. As the D23 trade show kicked off earlier today, fans were treated to a plethora of new announcements as well as teasers and videos of new and returning projects. A stunning new trailer for Mufasa: The Lion King, a prequel to The Lion King (2019). This all-new prequel explores Mufasa's life story, ie how an orphaned lion became the Lion King. While Jon Favreau directed the first installment, Oscar winner Barry Jenkins took the baton to deliver the prequel. The youthful incarnations of Scar and Mufasa are played by Kelvin Harrison Jr. and Aaron Pierre. The production team has brilliantly taken the CGI quality up a notch and we can't wait to witness a breathtaking experience on 20th December 2024.
