Marvel Studios has officially announced a new Black Panther animated series called Eyes of Wakanda. But instead of centering around Black Panther, this new series will have us warriors from Wakanda's past adventuring around the world to retrieve dangerous Vibranium artifacts.

Eyes of Wakanda was announced during the exclusive screening of two episodes of What…if? Season 2. The description for this brand new series reads:

"Throughout Wakandan history, brave warriors have been tasked with traveling the world and retrieving dangerous vibranium artifacts. This is their story."

The reveal of Eyes of Wakanda appears to be a follow up to a statement Disney made in 2021 stating that Ryan Coogler, the director of Black Panther will be back with a series about the Wakandan Kingdom
