Questions surrounding the sudden appearance of once-dead character Zack Fair, or the fate of Aerith, have ramifications that could change the entire world of the game and the story that people have loved for decades. However, after leaving the big questions dangling in front of the players, the ending of the game still does not provide a clear answer or resolution for any of them.
