During Jump Festa last year, we got the surprise announcement of The One Piece Remake by WIT Studio. This has been the dream announcement fans have been yearning for all these years. Now, on One Piece Day 2024, many new details were revealed along with new art, character designs and production details for the brand new anime. ONE PIECE ANIME REMAKE BIG NEWS | WIT STUDIO IS INSANE!!
As you know, WIT Studio is responsible for remaking the One Piece anime. Thus, famous animators in the industry and several new young employees have boarded the ship to create the remake. Here is the production staff for The One Piece remake:
Director Masashi Koizuka talked about his love for One Piece in an interview with BTS, saying, “I knew that I love One Piece the most in this studio so I took on this project because I didn't want anyone else to work on it. I will definitely create something interesting. Please look forward to it."
