Finally, the moment we've all been waiting for is here. The latest snapshot 23W45A has just been released and by enabling the Minecraft 1.21 update experiments we can experience the new exciting structure – Trial Chamber for the first time. So let's not waste any more time and dive in!

Trial Chambers only spawn in the Overworld Dimension. Also, you find them mostly when you explore the deep shale layers. But sometimes some parts can even be found in the rock layers. So, unlike the ancient cities, sample chambers do not generate too low in the world.

The structure of the test chambers varies greatly. You will find both small and large chambers. Additionally, the rooms in these buildings are procedurally generated, meaning that no two sample chambers can be identical. Next you will find corridors, tunnels, tight rooms and wide open large rooms. This structure consists mainly of different tuff and copper blocks.

There are even flower pots, flower pots with dead bushes and candles scattered about as decoration. Stairs and ladders link the floors. Although, just like in the mounts, the passages can lead to dead ends.
