The process of mounting a rod in Fishing Planet is a bit confusing for newcomers to the game. This step-by-step guide should help you assemble your first rod and get started with Fishing Planet.
To assemble a new rod, you must first go to your warehouse. In the backpack section of your inventory, you can find the components you currently have. Things like lines, hooks and bait. If you don't currently have any of these, you can head over to the shop menu and purchase some. Buying is a fairly simple process.
Once you have the components, all you have to do is click or press a button on the components you want to equip. For example, click on a line and it will be equipped to your current rod. You can see your current rod on the left. Be sure to equip one of each component. A rod is not fully assembled if it is missing a component.
