There has been a lot of confusion surrounding the Samsung Galaxy A90. First the Galaxy A80, which was recently launched with a slider and flip cameras, was rumored to be the Galaxy A90, and then we got the news that the Galaxy A90 is a completely different smartphone. Now a new report suggests that there will be no Galaxy A90, instead it will be part of a whole new series of smartphones from Samsung.

SAMSUNG Galaxy A90 – Activate & Disable the fast charging feature

According to OnLeaks, the Galaxy A90 (SM-A90X) will be launched worldwide as part of a new Galaxy R series of smartphones. With the Galaxy M series aimed at budget phone buyers, the Galaxy A series now targeting the mid-range, I think the Galaxy R series will target the high-end, perhaps just below the flagship S series and Note series.

OnLeaks also shared more details about the A90 or R-whatever it's called. The phone comes in two variants, a 5G and a non-5G variant. It will have a huge screen, triple cameras where one of the cameras does something really unique. Aside from these details, another leaker IceUniverse also revealed that the A90 will come with 45W fast charging, like the upcoming flagship Note 10, which is good because Samsung phones have been stuck with 15W fast charging for what seems like forever.

That's all the details we know about the Samsung Galaxy A90 or Galaxy R90, but I'm definitely excited to see how fast the 45W charger charges the phone.
