In a recent discussion on the Gears of War subreddit, user AhhSlickerz pointed out that Locust relied heavily on hollow creatures and the guidance of leaders like Kantus and Ukkon. This casts doubt on their supposed superiority as soldiers, especially when they are often portrayed as outsmarted and outmatched by human soldiers with advanced armor and weapons.
