Channing Tatum's Gambit could be seen in a possible live-action project if Feige and company listen to this fan's advice.

Channing Tatum on how Kevin Feige felt about Gambit #deadpoolandwolverinemovie

Channing Tatum really made a name for himself via his cameo in Deadpool & Wolverine. Taking on fan-favorite mutant Gambit, Tatum amply strutted his stuff, which also included his hilarious accent, in The Void, and a newly posted post-credits scene shared by Reynolds confirms that the character even survived the onslaught Deadpool & Wolverine left for him and his partners to deal with.

The cameo has almost immediately resulted in widespread calls for a solo Gambit movie, which Tatum is desperate for, to say the least. And while the MCU may be short on options given its busy schedule in the coming period, a genius pitch for X-Men '97 Season 2 could be exactly how Tatum's Gambit comes to MCU live-action, albeit eventually .

Of course, for starters, Gambit was killed in X-Men '97 Season 1. Furthermore, the character that was killed was voiced by AJ LoCascio, and didn't have the kind of characteristics we saw in Tatum's Gambit. Therefore, rather than this being a pitch for a potential X-Men '97 Season 2, it might make more sense for a standalone series.
