Genshin Impact 4.4 is currently in its first phase, and we're already getting leaks for the upcoming 4.5 banners. One of the latest leaks reveals that a new type of character banner is coming with the Genshin Impact 4.5 version. This banner will run alongside the limited time banners and the standard evergreen banner we are familiar with. However, it is rumored to contain some extra kinks that the other banners don't have.

The leaks via GenshinMeow and HXG reveal that the new banner will run Albedo, along with other characters in the 4.5 version. This new banner will have a similar system to the described tracks used in the limited time weapon banners in Genshin.

We're guessing that the new banner will feature the old 5-star characters that are no longer viable for Genshin Impact, allowing newer characters to appear in the limited times. And with a tokenized system available, players can get their old favorite characters with more certainty, instead of betting 50-50 in limited banners, they finally get a replay every 6 or 7 months.

But we still don't know if it will be a one-time thing for the 4.5 version or if it will continue for the following versions as well. In our opinion this is a good idea as it gives more character choices in banners and there are many old characters that are community favorites and players keep waiting for their replays without actually getting one.
