There are three new domains that were introduced alongside the 3.1 update of Genshin Impact. All of them are within the new desert area of the Sumeru region. One of the domains is Mirages Altar which you can unlock by following a certain quest line.
If you don't know how to unlock this domain, this guide is for you.
To unlock the Altar of Mirages domain, you must first complete the Golden Slumber quest. You can receive this quest from NPC Bonifaz who you can find in Aaru Village in the new desert area.
