As of the latest Genshin Impact 3.0 update, Sumeru was released as the latest region. However, miHoYo stated that there is a vision to complete the seven regions of Genshin Impact. With that information, it is speculated that the next region, Fontaine, will be released in 2023.

In the current version of Genshin Impact, Teyvat already has four playable regions. These are Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma and Sumeru. According to the announcement by miHoYo, all the seven Teyvat regions will be released one by one. And for next year it will be the Fontaine region.
