Fans do not share a mutual feeling with the late Akira Toriyama on Dragon Ball GT.

Why Goku left Shenron in Dragon Ball GT EXPLAINED

The Dragon Ball series is divided into several series. Dragon Ball was the first, while Dragon Ball DAIMA is the upcoming one. Akira Toriyama's magnum opus is considered the godfather of the big three of anime. But there are times when fans were unhappy with the franchise. One such example was with Dragon Ball GT. On top of that, it wasn't made by the late Akira Toriyama.

Dragon Ball GT has a weird plot, and fans often complain about it. Late Toriyama sensei sent a heartfelt message to anime fans, but the ending left them confused. Even after almost three decades of its release, no one seems to have found the reason behind it. The anime is still the only one that doesn't live up to expectations.

Dragon Ball GT takes place ten years after Dragon Ball Z. While training, he suddenly reverts to his child form, courtesy of Emperor Pilaf. To return to his former self, he must collect the Star Dragon Balls within a year. His grandsons Pan and Trunks help him on his journey. There were several promising villains, but none of them could live up to their potential.
