Fans of Yoshihiro Togashi's Hunter x Hunter have finally received good news after a long time, as the series has woken up after a long hiatus. As previously reported, Togashi is once again returning to the manga world, with the series returning in October 2024 with issue #45 of the story.

But while fans are waiting for the new chapters, the old chapters have finally been combined into the volume, and this volume has been released in Japan. The only problem is that the volume has misled the fans in a big way. Volume 38 of Hunter x Hunter features Gon on the cover, which got many fans' hopes up.

As Hunter x Hunter manga fans know, Gon hasn't made an appearance in the series in over a decade. However, when they saw him on the cover of the volume, they thought that maybe Gon had made a cameo in the series only to feel disappointed.
