Google to support offline stores in India

The Cyberskilling Roadshow will be a multi-city event to provide thousands of developers and IT and startup professionals with tools and guidance to develop more secure apps. To this end, a new core cybersecurity curriculum will be incorporated into the annual DevFest.

Google has partnered with MeitY (Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology) of India and several banks such as HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank and SBI, among others, to promote online safety awareness campaigns. The campaign partners will take this further with campaigns via SMS, apps and more.

The "Be Internet Awesome" curriculum, introduced in 2021, has now expanded to educate more people. Google has partnered with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to conduct webinars, Master Trainer programs and in-person events for students to adopt safe digital habits.
