Google is trying to push Google Lens and as a result it has now made it part of the Google home page for easier visual searches. The feature is already part of Google Photos and Chrome on both mobile and desktop. Take a look at how Google Lens will work on Google.com.

The Google Lens option now sits next to the voice search option on Google.com. The announcement came from Google's VP of Engineering for Search, Image Search and Len, Rajan Patel. By tapping the lens icon, you can search for answers to questions based on an image. You either draw an image or upload a file to start searching. An image URL also works. This allows you to perform better searches directly from your computer.
