Google's Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will be powered by the new Tensor G2 chipset, as mentioned on the phones' product page. This was first discovered by leaker Kuba Wojciechowski. The Tensor G2 (possibly short for Generation 2) will succeed the Tensor chip that debuted with the Pixel 6 series last year. Although Google has yet to reveal the technical details, the next-generation Tensor chip is expected to improve cameras, security and speech recognition.
