Grubs are one of the smallest and perhaps least dangerous insects you can find in Grounded. But they're also one of the sneakiest bugs in the game, and their hide is important to many crafting recipes. If you find catching one frustrating or just want to know right now where they're hiding, this guide is for you.
Grubs are diggers. Even if you know where they are, you can't do anything about them until you dig them up from the ground. To do this, you need a shovel, which is made with 2 twigs, 1 raw rope and 1 acorn shell.
With your shovel in hand, look closely at the ground for a line of moving dirt and for noise and stab it with your shovel, this will make the Grub helplessly lay on its back and wiggle. Grubs can be found in spider caves, caves and other places, and will also hide under acorns, under roots and in dark areas. They are most abundant near the Oak Tree area.
