Ever since GTA 6 was announced in 2023, tensions have been high for the game to reach us on time. Although Rockstar confirmed that GTA 6 will be released in the fall of 2025, there were rumors that the game would be delayed. Well, you can rest easy because Take-Two has confirmed that GTA 6 will indeed be released in its planned timeline.
GTA 6 will still be released in the fall of 2025, Take-Two confirms
The confirmation comes from Take-Two's latest financial update for fiscal quarter 2025. GTA 6 was found under the Product Releases section with its release listed as "Fall of Calender 2025." We don't know about you, but that's about as official a confirmation of game release as you're going to get.
In addition to confirming the GTA 6 release window, the earnings call also went on to highlight more titles including WWE 2K25, Sid Meier's Civilization VII and Judas. But we all know where our focus lies.
The GTA 6 confirmation is a nice change of pace. As someone so used to seeing games either delayed or rushed out the door, Take-Two standing strong on GTA 6 inspires faith in me.
