It seems Rockstar Games can't escape issues related to their big 2025 release, GTA 6. According to reports from Kotaku, GTA 6 may miss its 2025 release window and slide into 2026. This news comes months after Rockstar asked its employees to return to office for faster production of the game.

The long-awaited GTA 6 was finally revealed in the first GTA 6 trailer in December 2023 for a release window of 2025. Since then, many reports have claimed the game for an early release in 2025. Kotaku reports further stating that Rockstar Games' internal team believes that "early 2025" is currently the target for the game's release.
Although the game was revealed, it still doesn't seem to be finished. Since there may be a lot of production going on for the game, employees not coming back to the office could potentially delay the release even further. According to the Kotaku reports, GTA 6 could be released in late 2025 or maybe even slip into 2026.
From the previous reports from Bloomberg, Rockstar Games to ask its employees to return to the office was more security related. However, while talking to Kotaku, an unnamed Rockstar source revealed that the reasons may be different after soon:
