After the great success of Hades that catapulted Supergiant Games to the top, the studio is back with another villainous adventure. In a new Supergiant Games blog, the company revealed that it is close to launching Hades II into Early Access! Also, a technical test for Hades 2 will start soon.

Hades 2 will be a direct sequel to the original. Like its predecessor, Hades 2 will be available in Early Access for some time until its full v1.0 release. So far there is no concrete release date, but it seems after the playtest, it should be announced soon. Players can already wishlist the game on popular platforms like Steam or the Epic Games Store.
The tech test will feature the first major area of the game, as well as other characters, systems, and content from early games. In the original game's terms, you cannot get past Tartarus even if you defeat its guardians. So, once you've cleared the playtest content, you'll be prompted to stop playing with a message saying early access is coming soon.
