The first quarter of 2024 did not go well for Tesla, neither financially nor reputationally. As we reported earlier, sales were down, net profit fell off the same cliff that Tesla's stock price previously fell over, and production and deliveries were also down.
But give Musk a chance to throw out a flash grenade and he'll do just that: This time with some wild predictions about his automaker producing a "purpose-built robotic taxi" called the "Cybercab" and Tesla's latest vision for the future as one where it focused on “solving autonomy”.
