After the success of Guardians of the Galaxy, the Guardians returned for a sequel only this time they were up against the father of their group leader. Kurt Russell joined Chris Pratt and the rest of the cast for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 where he played the role of Ego the Living Planet aka Peter Quill's father. The film ends with a face-off between the two which of course resulted in another win for Team Guardians.
When Kurt Russell played Chris Pratt's father, he unwittingly began giving the young actor fatherly advice. Before leaving the project, veteran actor Chris Pratt learned the value of slowing down thanks to some very wise advice.
Chris Pratt spoke to Slash Film and shared Kurt Russell's fatherly advice to him on the set of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Russell and Pratt had to spend a lot of time together on set and over time, the two bonded over shared interests.
