George Lucas has nothing but praise and love for Ewan McGregor.

Ewan McGregor's Obi-Wan Kenobi has become a fan-favorite character ever since the prequel trilogy and it's easy to see why. In addition to being a Jedi Master, the actor's charisma and understanding of his character translates seamlessly on screen.

McGregor has previously admitted his love for the Star Wars franchise despite its rocky beginnings. After all, the movies were made for the fans, especially the kids who grew up watching the original trilogy.

Director George Lucas said in the Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith DVD bonus feature via Star Wars Theory that Ewan McGregor was aware of his responsibility on set as one of the older actors.
