Marvel Studios reveals X-Men 97 creator Beau DeMayo was fired for sexual harassment

In the X-Men world, Wolverine may be top dog, but other characters often played second fiddle — until Beau DeMayo came along. Under the Marvel Animation banner, he breathed new life into the X-Men franchise with X-Men '97, pulling lesser-known heroes out of the shadows and giving them their moment in the spotlight.

But just as the show was gearing up for its big debut earlier this year, the creator-head writer was shown the door just days before the premiere. Fast forward to today, and DeMayo finally resigns. But some Marvel fans won't buy DeMayo's claim.
