In Dragon Ball Super, Frieza's return failed to rekindle the love of fans, and his unchanged evil nature struggled to adapt to the evolving story.
Thanks to the amazing AKIRA TORIYAMA
Akira Toriyama's Dragon Ball is arguably the most recognized franchise in the community. Dragon Ball Z captivated many fans with the iconic rivalry between Goku and Vegeta. Not to forget, Toriyama introduced many great antagonists that left a lasting impression on the audience.
Frieza is arguably the most iconic villain in the Dragon Ball universe, first introduced in DBZ. Goku's SSJ1 transformation was also shown during his fight with Frieza on the Namekian planet. Although DBZ held several iconic moments, Frieza failed to gain the limelight after being resurrected in Dragon Ball Super.
Despite taking out Jiren for Golden Frieza's transformation, DB fans were somewhat underwhelmed by Frieza's evolution in the Super series.
