Bloodborne's timeless appeal has fans asking for a remaster, but can a full remake lose its charm, or is a remaster more than enough?

Alinity almost banned again #shorts

Bloodborne has been one of those games that just sticks with you forever. Even though it came out in 2015, people are still talking about it like it was released yesterday. It has managed to remain extremely relevant thanks to its exceptional Gothic art direction, gameplay and enemy design, and bloody battles.

Looking at the game, it's hard to believe it's almost nine years old. The visuals, atmosphere and gameplay are still on point. Being a PS4 exclusive and never getting a PS5 or PC port or upgrade, many gamers have been desperately begging Sony to update the game for modern hardware, but to no avail.

Rumors of a Bloodborne remake or remaster come out pretty much every other month via various insiders and leakers, but nothing has been officially confirmed for a long time.
