The fifth film in the MCU's Phase Five, after the recently released blockbuster Deadpool & Wolverine, will be Captain America: Brave New World and the buzz around it couldn't be higher. Not only will it be Anthony Mackie's solo Marvel film as the Captain, but it will also feature Giancarlo Esposito making his official debut in the respective superhero universes.

Unsurprisingly, he will be seen in a villainous role that was revealed during the exclusive Comic-Con 2024, just like his role as Stan in the hit Prime Video series The Boys. But while he's once again playing an antagonist in a superverse, his role has a different feel this time, compared to his counterpart in the adult superhero franchise.

At the recent San Diego Comic-Con 2024, Brave New World did not hesitate to leave fans stunned. In addition to stealing the show with the film's preview, a big surprise character involvement in the film was also revealed: Giancarlo Esposito's Sidewinder aka Seth Voelker.
