Hogwarts Legacy is getting a hefty free update this week, more than a year after the game set in the wizarding world of Harry Potter debuted on PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X. Developer Avalanche Software will release Hogwarts Legacy's Summer 2024 update on all platforms on June 6 — here's what players can expect.
The biggest new addition to Hogwarts Legacy is the photo mode, which allows players to take customized screenshots of their gameplay. The game's new photo mode looks like what we've come to expect from other games with similar features, allowing players to take pictures and apply various effects, including frames and filters inspired by Hogwarts' famous houses. You can put your young wizard or witch in different poses – including sitting – and change the time of day and seasons for photos.
