Unlike many popular superhero series, The Boys has taken a different and more realistic approach to the genre, exploring how power and influence can corrupt people. One of the prime examples of this is Homelander, the show's main antagonist, played by Antony Starr.

Since Season 1, Homelander has been an unstable and malevolent figure who sees himself as superior and above everyone else. He met his match in the show's second season, in the form of Storefront, who even managed to upset him with his propaganda.

The Boys Season 2 brought a significant change by introducing a new character to Seven, Stormfront, portrayed by Aya Cash. Modeled after the first successful comic strip, Stormfront emerged as one of the main antagonists of the season.
