Relics in Honkai: Star Rail are basically the equivalent of Artifacts in Genshin Impact.

You equip them on your characters to give them a big stat boost. However, the effects will vary depending on which set a relic belongs to.

Aside from that, relics also come in various rarities from 2-star (green background) all the way to 5-star (gold background).
