Honkai Star Rail's groundbreaking missions are currently concentrated on the new world, Penacony, and each new release introduces many new characters. Boothill is one of the Penacony characters that was leaked a while ago and is very hyped in the community. Boothill's name and character traits were revealed a while ago, but all the leaks just showed off fan art with no in-game model. However, recent leaks have given us more details about Boothill's kit and character model.

The latest leaks on Reddit via HXG finally gave us a cinematic look at Boothill, meaning he'll likely be appearing in Penacony Trailblazing missions soon, hopefully in Honkai Star Rail 2.1. If we have to guess, he will be playable in either the 2.2 or 2.3 versions.
Boothill has a scruffy appearance and has a Rogue-like appearance. He is rumored to be a sort of freedom fighter in Penacony, representing the refugees. Earlier rumors had suggested that Boothill would have an old western cowboy look.
His leaks describe him as brash, unruly and indifferent to society's rules. Another leak reveals that Boothill will cause a lot of trouble for the Trailblazers before befriending the Galactic baseball players.
