Rocks are naturally occurring aggregates of minerals, rock fragments or organic matter. Based on their mode of formation, rocks are classified into three main types: igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic.

What is the difference between a mineral and a rock? Minerals have a specific chemical structure which is the same throughout the entire mineral. Rocks, on the other hand, are composed of a variety of different minerals and are not consistent throughout their structure.

What is te difference between rocks and minerals? Minerals have only one substance, but rocks have two or more minerals. Therefor, a rock can be broken in half but a mineral cannot because of it’s one substance.

Rocks are classified according to characteristics such as mineral and chemical composition, permeability, texture of the constituent particles, and particle size. This transformation produces three general classes of rock: igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic. Those three classes are subdivided into many groups.

• Igneous rocks are formed from melted rock deep inside the Earth.

The fabric consists of a weft (when the yarn goes across the width of the fabric) and a warp (when the yarn goes down the length of the loom). There are three types of woven fabric: plain weave, satin weave and twill weave.

Pima cotton is known to be the highest quality cotton that money can buy, with extra long fibers which ensure the softness of the t shirt fabric.
