REQUIREMENTS

1. Accomplished and signed application form (to be secured from OSA);
2. Photocopy/print-out of the UST Entrance Test result (for freshmen only)
3. Photocopy of UST Registration Form (if enrolled);
4. Photocopy of Grades;
5. Certificate of Good Moral Character;
6. Baptismal Certificate (if applicable);

UST Senior High School Valedictorian graduates for each of the 6 academic strands will be given a scholarship with 100% defrayal of total fees. Salutatorian of each strand will be given scholarship with 50% defrayal of total fees. Learning Materials Allowance for the 1st term of the first year of admission only.

Typically, academic scholarships are awarded by the admissions office, not the financial aid office, and do not require a separate application form. Academic scholarships are awarded to a small percentage of prospective students based on high school grade point average (GPA) and SAT/ACT admissions test scores.

St. Thomas Academic Scholarships are merit-based funds awarded based on academic achievement and contributions made to one’s school and community. About 97 percent of incoming freshman students receive one of these scholarships. Eligibility: Prospective first-year students are automatically considered for these funds upon admission.

(Applicable for Sports (JHS, SHS, and College Level), Music (College Level), DOMNET, UST Singers and ROTC (College Level) This scholarship, named after the Founder of the Order of the Preachers, is given to the students who excel in arts, music and sports.

The Santo Tomas Scholarship is named after the Patron Saint of the University, and is given to students with excellent academic performance.
