To present online:

1. Select the Slide Show tab, then locate the Start Slide Show group.
2. Click the Present Online command.
3. A dialog box will appear.
4. A link will appear.
5. Click Copy Link to make a copy of the link, which you can paste just about anywhere—including Facebook, a blog, or an email.
6. Click Start Presentation.

Open an OpenDocument Presentation file in PowerPoint

1. Click the File tab.
2. Click Open.
3. To only see files saved in OpenDocument format, in the File of type list, click OpenDocument Presentation.
4. Click the file you want to open, and then click Open. Tip: To open the file, you can also double-click it after you find it.

Run Compatibility Checker

1. Open the presentation that you want to check for compatibility.
2. Click the File > Info, and then next to Inspect Presentation, click Check for Issues > Check Compatibility.

To identify the exact version of your PowerPoint you must access its About window. To do that, click or tap the Account button at the bottom-left corner of the window. Then, on the right, click or tap About PowerPoint. In the window that opens, you can see the exact version of your PowerPoint.
