Hyper Chip – Assuming X did not get any of the four upgrading chips in any of the boss stages and collected all of the other items, he can gain all of them in Doppler Stage A, with the armor turning into gold. This armor also causes X’s energy to regenerate more quickly and the Hyper Charge to use up less energy.

Flame Sword (フレイムソード, Fureimu Sōdo) is the Special Weapon Mega Man obtains by defeating Sword Man in Mega Man 8. Befitting its name, it is a close-ranged fire-based weapon, capable of igniting things that are highly flammable, such as the Thorn Vines in Search Man’s stage.

His weakness is the Commando Bomb, but it is tricky to hit him with this, as only the shockwave is able to do meaningful damage to him.

It seems that, for all intents and purposes, Mega Man is dead. With Keiji Inafune no longer at the company, the character’s last big supporter has fallen away and Capcom is free to bury the beloved blue hero for good. That’s Sonic’s fate, and I find it laughable that some wish the same for Mega Man.

Because they are designed to be really diffecult. Old NES games had small memory storage. So to make up for that they decided to make the games as hard as possible so it would take a long time to finish the game. Fans liked the way that megaman games were hard so capcom stuck with it.

HARDEST: Shadow Man

The first Mega Man is one of the classic “Nintendo Hard” games (It’s not Mega Man and Bass or Megaman Zero 2, but you get the idea). Remember, Mega Man 1 is borderline evil at times. Guts Man and Ice Man’s stages are still some of the hardest platforming experiences around.

Mega Man One of gaming’s early heroes turned out to be a lefty through a quirk of programming. Mega Man always fires his Mega Buster with his far hand. Since most, but not all, of the action in Mega Man titles happens from left to right, he usually battled bad guys using his left hand.

Stan Lee. Not only has he created some of the world’s most beloved superheroes, but he did it all with his left hand. Lee has also made several cameos over the years in some of our favorite films including almost every single Marvel movie ever.

Contrary to popular belief, Zero actually uses the Z-Saber on his left hand rather than his right (the right hand is usually for activating his Z-Buster, similar to what X does. Why Zero still uses his right hand to hold the Z-Saber during gameplay is still open to question.

On many box arts and title screens, the buster is on his right arm, but in some it is on his left arm or in none of them. So, one can assume that he “morphs” his arm into a buster, and that he may do that with either of the arms, depending on how clear a shot would be in each case.

Mega Man can use both of his hands as arm cannons. Yes, he can use both arms at the same time, but chooses not to. X can use both arms, as per his sprite animations in X3 (and others). Voulnutt/Trigger only uses one arm.

Supposedly, buster weapons–specifically the buster sword–got its origins from Final Fantasy VII. It’s the big ass broadsword that Cloud Strife used in the game. Its appeared in every Final Fantasy game since and become something of a staple in anime. A buster weapon can be any larger-than-normal weapon.

Your blade gets knicked and to avoid having that weakpoint exposed to the elements, you wrap in soft fabric to keep it safe. Because it is so sharp it needs the bandages to blunten it so it clashes with other swords instead of cutting them in half and potentially damaging him.

“Real life” buster sword A “half-sized” steel replica weighs thirteen pounds (6 kg), and has a three-foot (1 m) blade. It is terribly unbalanced, and a real-life full sized version would weigh approximately 104 lb (47 kg). Such a weapon would be egregiously impractical in real life.
