How to Fix Msvcp100. dll Errors

1. Download the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package MFC Security Update and run it.
2. Install any available Windows updates.
3. Restore msvcp100.
4. Run a virus/malware scan of your entire system.
5. Use System Restore to undo recent system changes.

-Delete ‘FarCry4’ folder in the Ubisoft folder. -You may need to reinstall Ubisoft Connect. -You may need to reinstall FC4. Uninstalling and reinstalling Far Cry 4/Ubisoft Connect is not needed but I recommend trying it if the fix doesn’t work, otherwise your startup crash is probably caused by something else.

Select the game executable from the game folder, if you used the default install folder it should be: “C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/Steamapps/common/Far Cry 4” Select your issue or issues from the box to the right and click the corresponding “Fix” button.

Far Cry 4 is compatible with Windows 7 and Windows 8/8.1. You can run the game on a Windows 10 system by running the game in compatibility mode: support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/150…

In the vast majority of cases, the solution is to properly reinstall msvcp100. dll on your PC, to the Windows system folder. Alternatively, some programs, notably PC games, require that the DLL file is placed in the game/application installation folder.

You will need to download the Extreme Injector zip file to resolve this issue. Firstly, you have to close the Task Manager and end the task of Far Cry 4. After that, you will have to right-click on the game icon and click on the open file location. Now open the Extreme Injector V3.exe file.

Then right click on FarCry4.exe and select Properties, got to compatibility tab, then select Run this program in compatibility mode and select Windows 7 in the drop down. Then select Run this as Administrator. Click ok.
