Figma is a free, online UI tool to create, collaborate, prototype, and handoff.

1. Select the layer that the plugin is attached to.
2. Click on the plugin name in the Plugins section. Figma will ask you if you want to install the plugin.

That’s just one example of the many Figma plugins which are already available for free. They all work in a similar way; login, install, and you’ll find your plugin ready for use under the plugins menu.

As a motion designer, Figma is a great way to quickly design, build, and export files for animation and prototyping. It’s easy to use and has all the tools I need to get the job done. The mobile app live preview is a really nice touch. It helps me manage the quality and nuance of what I’m designing.

Open the plugin from the Editor Open the menu in the top-left corner of Figma. Select Plugins > Manage Plugins. Figma will open the Plugin page in your account. Click on the plugin in the Installed column to view the plugin page.

Both have the basic editing functionalities that most design tools have. Sketch: Platform and Performance. One of the biggest differences between the two tools is that Figma works in-browser, whereas Sketch is a desktop app only available for Apple computers.
