Go to the CUNY Portal at http://www.cuny.edu and click on the Portal Log-in/Blackboard link. 2. On the following page, click the link for “Account and Password Reset”. Your new password will be immediately useable; you can go back to the Portal Log-in Page and log in with your Portal ID and password.

To update your E-MAIL ADDRESS

1. In the Personal Information drop down menu, click on “E-mail Address”
2. Multiple E-mail addresses will come up on the screen.
3. Once you have made your changes, click “save.”
4. On the Confirmation Message, click “OK.”

Log into your @MyHunter (Office 365) email account at www.hunter.cuny.edu/myhunter/email. Your new email address is your CUNYfirst username followed by @myhunter.cuny.edu ([email protected]). To learn more, visit www.hunter.cuny.edu/newstudentemail.

How to change a student’s password or email address

1. Click on the Lost Your Password link on your login page.
2. Enter your username or email address and click Get New Password.
3. Now check your email for a confirmation email — this should arrive within 30 minutes.

How do I access my City Tech email?

1. Students, you can access your email from the Microsoft Office 365 email login page.
2. If you can’t log in, contact the Help Desk on the first floor of the Atrium Building, at 718-260-4900, or [email protected]
3. Faculty and staff, you can log in to your email here.

Add/Update a Mailing Address

1. Log into CUNYfirst and click Student Center.
2. Near the bottom of the page you will see a section labeled Personal Information.
3. Click the drop and select Addresses.
4. Click the button to Add a New Address (or click Edit if you already have a mailing address indicated.)

To delete your account, go to the top black navigation bar and hover over your avatar in the upper right corner. Click My Settings >> Delete Account, then follow the directions on the page.

To reset passwords from your school’s web portal:

1. Click the link Forgot Username or Password.
2. Enter the username and email address for your account, then click Enter.
3. You should receive the email as an email from your school.
4. Click on the password reset link in the email you receive.
5. Enter a new password.

Navigate to the All Classes section of the page and select the appropriate class. On the right-hand side, you can enter the details under the Email Address column. To update the email address, select the student’s name and update the email address from the pop-up screen. Select the green check mark to save your change.
