AT TV Now, the telecom and media giant’s streaming service, is going away. On Tuesday, AT announced that it would be “merging” TV Now with AT TV, its cable and satellite alternative that also streams live TV over the internet but previously required having at least one of AT’s dedicated streaming boxes.

Last week, AT announced it would be spinning off its TV business — including DirecTV, AT TV, and U-verse — in a deal it claimed would greatly benefit the company’s customers, employees, and shareholders. “AT’s DirecTV is inarguably one of the worst acquisitions of all time,” Moffett said.

Yes. Both AT Watch TV and AT TV Now are being merged into AT TV, which is a separate live TV streaming service that doesn’t require a contract. The AT TV app is available for mobile and streaming devices.

If you purchased AT TV service with a 2-year contract, you’ll be charged an Early Termination Fee (ETF) if you disconnect your AT TV service more than 14 days after purchase and within your 24-month commitment. The maximum ETF is $360, prorated at $15 per month, for each month remaining on your 24-month commitment.
