How to sync your calendar from Mac to iPhone using iTunes

Sync contacts and calendars between your Mac and iPhone or iPad

1. Connect your device to your Mac.
2. In the Finder on your Mac, select the device in the Finder sidebar.
3. Select Info in the button bar.
4. Do any of the following:

Turn Handoff on or off

1. On your Mac: Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click General, then select “Allow Handoff between this Mac and your iCloud devices” (at the bottom of the pane).
2. On iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch: Go to Settings > General > AirPlay & Handoff, then turn on or off Handoff.

3. Click on the iPhone icon in the top, just next to Music (it is an icon of an iPhone).
4. Click on Info in the list to the left.
5. Click on the box next to Sync Calendars.

Syncing with calendars on other devices Connect your iPad using the Dock Connector to USB Cable. When your iPad appears in the Library list on the left side of the screen, click on it. Click on the Info tab and check the Sync Calendars With check box. Select the account you want to sync with from the drop-down menu.

Make sure that the date and time settings on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, or PC are correct. Make sure that you’re signed in to iCloud with the same Apple ID on all of your devices. Then, check that you turned on Contacts, Calendars, and Reminders* in your iCloud settings. Check your Internet connection.

Download the Google Calendar app

1. On your Android phone or tablet, download the Google Calendar app from Google Play.
2. When you open the app, all of your events will be synced with your computer.

Here’s how to set up iCloud: Open the Settings app on one device, tap your name to open the Apple ID screen, then select iCloud. Turn on the toggle switches next to every category of app and content that you want to sync between the iPhone and iPad. Repeat this process with the second device.

iTunes opens automatically when connected to your computer. In iTunes, in the source list, under Devices, click the entry for your iPhone or iPod touch. Click the Info tab. Under Calendars, click Sync calendars from, and then click Outlook.

From the Settings screen, select your Apple ID then select iCloud. 2. Select the switch next to each item to turn iCloud synchronization on or off as desired.

The first time you set up syncing, you must connect your device to your Mac using a USB or USB-C cable. After you connect the device, the device icon appears in the Finder sidebar and selecting the icon displays syncing options. You then select which items to sync.

Connect your iPhone 12 to the Mac via the USB-lightning cable. Launch iTunes. Keeping iTunes open, Restart the Mac. At the prompt, select the option to “Reopen Windows when logging back in”.

Note: Your device must be connected to you computer using the included Lightning-to-USB cable to appear in iTunes. When you click Sync settings, a new window will open in Finder. Note: Whenever the computer and the iPhone are on the same network, the iPhone will appear in iTunes and you can sync it.

Open iTunes Library tool, then all music and videos are loaded from iTunes Library. Select songs and videos you need then click Transfer to Device to save those songs and videos from iTunes Library to your iPhone 12.

With macOS Catalina, your iTunes media library is now available in the Apple Music app, Apple TV app, Apple Books app, and Apple Podcasts app. And Finder is where you can manage and sync content on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

Sync your content using Wi-Fi

1. Connect your device to your computer with a USB cable, then open iTunes and select your device. Learn what to do if your device doesn’t appear on your computer.
2. Click Summary on the left side of the iTunes window.
3. Select “Sync with this [device] over Wi-Fi.”
4. Click Apply.
