1. Step 1: Create a New Document. I did a 640 x 480 transparent one.
2. Step 2: Gradient! Ok new make a Gradient in the document.
3. Step 3: Add Noise. Go to filter > noise > add noise.
4. Step 4: Motion Blur. Ok now go to filter > blur > motion blur.
5. Step 5: Enjoy. Ok now enjoy your brushed metal.

1. Open Photoshop.
2. Select Edit from the dropdown menu, and select Preferences > Plugins.
3. Check the “Additional Plugins Folder” box to accept new files.
4. Download a plugin or filter to your desktop.
5. Open your Program Files folder and select your Photoshop folder.

Install plugins or extensions using the Creative Cloud desktop app

1. Download the Creative Cloud desktop app.
2. Go to the Stock & Marketplace tab, and then select Plugins.
3. Search for your plugin.
4. When you find a plugin you’d like to install, select Get or Learn more.
5. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the install.

To add new brushes, select the “Settings” menu icon in the top-right section of the panel. From here, click the “Import Brushes” option. In the “Load” file selection window, select your downloaded third-party brush ABR file. Once your ABR file is selected, click the “Load” button to install the brush into Photoshop.
